Also, it seems obvious to me now. The stricter TSA guidelines on bottled water are to prevent the bringing of Holy Water on airplanes. That stuff is dangerous.
(Seriously, I’m amazed they were able to get that bottle on there. They would have been SOL if the TSA said they couldn’t have an open beverage. 2005 was a simpler time.)

Must say, have not blogged in forever. But I felt like liveblogging Supernatural because I’m up late watching it and I might as well because Jesuz Christie! I am invested!

See, I like this, and I think it sounds really cool and a lot of fun, but I just have this one problem: that the water bender really can’t push anyone back in any way. For the disadvantage of having 1 to 2 hands tied up by a water gun and decreasing mobility, there’s really no way for the water bender to cause a particular difference, especially if they end up by themselves. Fun concept, but I think it needs a little more work.

We recently learned that he wanted to go to PAX East, but couldn’t afford it, and we basically decided screw that. The three of us who run Protofans pooled some money and pulled some strings, and got him a badge, a place to sleep, and some travel money. We felt weird asking for help from you guys, but if you’d like to chip in, you are free to do so. (Any extra money above what is spent on the PAX trip will go directly to ShutUpAndJamza to help with medical bills, etc.) You are not required to donate to win the prize pack, we just wanted to bring some more attention to this dude’s amazing story, and we hope that if you see him at PAX, you’ll give him the highest of fives.
